It's Time. To Begin Again. Again.

I've realized over the years that I love Change.  The thought of something new about to happen.  The planning of it all.  The excitement that brews whilst planning something new!  Whether it be a vacation, a change of schedule, a new "DIET"...  What?  Did I just say the WORD?  Uggh.  I did.  Let's face it.  Most of us love the IDEA of beginning something that will bring about such amazing change in our bodies and consequently, our lives.  Like, a new "lifestyle".  Isn't that why we love to start these things on Mondays?  I have been on many a diet in my life, but I can honestly say, I've always searched for the perfect "lifestyle" that would take place of that "diet" that we all know is pretty much temporary.

Ayurveda Nutrition is definitely that for me.  The lifestyle I've been looking for.  What I love about it is it's seemingly easy.  I love how my body and my brain feels.  It is the perfect (of course) union with my yoga.  This is not to say that I don't still ride the rollercoaster at times when it comes to having a bad day or a good day.  I've noticed that in the world we live in today, it's very difficult to remain steadfast on any diet especially a lifestyle that includes drinking A LOT of water, NOT eating sugar, caffeine, fake and/or processed anything, etc.  This lifestyle, however, is one that makes it SO much easier to stay true to your path, and it is VERY rewarding.

I'm currently in the midst of another Ayurveda program.  It's a guided process, and even though I wish I had more time to really read, study, and soak it all in, I'm still very pleased to be a part of it.
Most of you know I've struggled with giving up coffee and chocolate.  I've been able to do quite well, and then as soon as I allow myself to indulge, I seem to be right back where I was with that particular "bad" habit.  I've realized that it's not about the actual chocolate or coffee itself, but more about treating myself.  Allowing someone to make something for me.  And it makes me so happy.  :)  I know this is likely the case, as I rarely ever drink half of it anymore, but I just can't get myself to not stop in at my favorite place, Sundance Espresso, Selah, Washington, to receive my delicious beverage.  At this moment, I am contemplating my next move towards eliminating coffee and chocolate.

Stay tuned, and I will keep you in the know!
